Success Factors for Positions Description of Position

• Sound experience in windows server(2000 and above) platforms and businessapplications.

• Adequate knowledge in SQL

• Good understanding of Operating Systemand Networking Technologies in both Windows &Linux

• Strong skills in troubleshooting security-related issues involving NTFS, LDAP and SQL

Server & Linux Server

• Customer handling experience ontechnical issue is desired

• Knowledge of Unix command line andexposure to GNU/Linux distributions, likeRedhat/SuSE/Ubuntu etc

• Ability to work through ambiguity andindependently when other resources are notavailable.

• Good English Communication Skills -Spoken and Written (including technical writing)

• Strong Trouble Shooting and problemsolving skills

• Minimum of 1-3 years experience withminimum 1 year as System Admin in datacenterenvironment.

• Good attitude and people handling/coordination

As a Workgroup Server Administrator, you shall support the Server Team and performtechnical activity in account like regular monitoring and maintain a log of the performancemonitoring of servers including but not limited to monitoring CPU, disk space, memoryutilization, I/O utilization, etc. Below are the descriptions of the tasks involved:

• Regular analysis of events and logs

• Apply OS patches and updates

• Carry out periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzingand implementing rectification measures

• Maintain logical access control of user and groups on system• Manage uptime of servers as per SLA.

• Security Audit on Server OS.

• Server performance tuning

• Capacity planning

• Defining backup policy

• Patch feasibility study

• Security policy definition for server
