VPN-1 SecuRemote/Secure Client Installation for MAC OS 10.5 After downloading file (SecureClient_B634000031_1.pkg) do the following:
Double click on the SecureClient_B634000031_1.pkg Click on Continue on the warning Click continue on the Welcome Screen
Click continue and Agree on the software License Agreement
Click Continue
Click Continue
Click agree Select Macintosh HD for Destination and click continue
Click on the install option to continue installation
After you hit the install, the system will ask for Administrator
name and password to proceed.
Once you enter your Administrator username and password. It will ask to continue installation after the reboot.
Click on Continue Installation Once it finish installing
It will ask you to restart the MAC.
After it reboot
You will notice that on the top right hand side Conner you will
find a yellow key with a red asterisk. This is your Secure VPN client.
Right click on it and select connect.
VPN-1 will tell you that No sites defined. Would you like to create a new site?
Click YES The VPN-1 SecuredClient Site Wizard will appear.
On Server Address or Name: Please enter (Maher.mercy.edu)
And click next In the Authentication Method make sure to use: User Name and Password
Click Next User Details (Specify User name and Password)
Enter your Mercy.edu (User name and Password) Click Next Select Connection Settings
Please select (Advanced) Click Next Advance Settings Here select (NONE)
Click Next
The Validation and confirmation of credentials will begin
Click Next After it verifies the credentials
Click (Finish) VPN-1 will ask you to connect now
Click (Yes) It will ask for User name and Password one more time
Enter your credentials and click connect Mercy College Username and Password Click Connect
It will confirm your connection.
Now you have completed the installation and setup for
SecureVPN-1 client on Mac OS 10.5
