•  Magnetic Fields (Giancoli Chapter 27. 4 lectures) Definition of magnetic field. Field lines. Force on a moving charge and on currents. Torque on a current loop. Motion of a charged particle in magnetic fields.

•  Sources of Magnetic Fields (Giancoli Chapter 28, Sections 1, 2 and 6. 3 lectures) Magnetic fields produced by current-carrying wires. Forces between currents.

Biot-Savart Law.

•  Magnetic Induction (Giancoli Chapter 29, Sections 1-4. 3 lectures) Faraday's and Lenz's Laws. Motional emfs.
