What is Unwind?

-In a 2014 survey, 1 in 4 Australians reported some degree of stress

-Highest stress levels found in people aged 18-35

-2 in 5 Australians reported symptoms of depressions

-1 in 4 Australians reported symptoms of anxiety

-Greatest contributors of stress: Personal financial issues 49% Family issues 45% Workplace issues 32% Relationship issues 31% Study 16%

-Highest reported strategies included: Watching television Eating Visiting social media websites Drinking alcohol

UNwind is a non-profit organisation that provides people with information about stress and tips on how to relieve stress in the workplace, school and home environments.

This will be achieved through an integrated media campaign that aims to raise money to implement councilors in workplaces and schools.

The campaign will cross multiple platforms such as online, face-to-face and merchandising.

Outdoor advertising

Outdoor Advertising will be placed in bus shelters and other public spaces such as train stations and walls around the country. These will have a stress relieving tip with a link to the unwind

website. They will captivate the audience through the typographic design and strong colours to

engage an audience that may not have otherwise heard of the organisation.

PostersThese posters will distributed to schools, universities and workplaces around the country to promote the cause. They will offer stress relieving tips as well as a way to find the Unwind online.

WebsiteUnwind.org.au provides information on the

organisation as well as an online shop that sell merchandise such as stress balls and candles to raise money to implement stress free zones and

councilors in workplaces around the country. It will provide information on what Unwind is about and

allow the audience to get involved by organizing an Unwind event at their own workplace.

FacebookThe Facebook page will used twice daily to post with tips on how to reduce stress. It will also be used to build a community, people can post things that help them reduce stress such as advertising boxing clubs, cooking classes, yoga classes etc.

InstagramThis will be used to in a similar way to the Facebook page with two posts per day advising the audience

on how to relieve stress. It will also be used to roll out the #RelaxandRewind campaign which will

enable the audience to post what helps them relax and rewind and build in the sense of community.

EventThe Unwind event will be held in cities around Australia and have yoga in the park, music, puppy pens, massage stations and merchandise for sale.

Stress Free ZonesWith money raised from merchandise sales,

donations and the Unwind event, stress free zones and councilors will be implemented into workplaces,

schools and universities around the country. Bean bags, tea, books and candles will be set up to allow

students and employees an opportunity to escape from the stress of work and study on their breaks.

StationaryThis will be used when contacting business to tie together the corporate identity of Unwind keep it looking professional and polished.

CandlesThese will be available through the unwind website to raise money for councilors and stress free zones.

They will also help to reduce stress at home.

Tea BagsLike the candles, these will also be available online in a range of flavours from chamomile to peppermint.

Stress BallsStress balls are another item of merchandising that will be used to raise money for the campaign.

T-ShirtsThe public are able to purchase these through the website. They will also be worn by Unwind volunteers at the events and at workplace and school visits.
