Course Aims:
The aim of this course is to upgrade the candidate abilities in:
1. Gain mastery in the delivery of safe and effective perioperative anesthetic care to patients
undergoing elective and emergency complex/major thoracic, and cardiacl surgery.
2. To be capable of conducting anesthesia and put plans for different scenarios of intra-
operative as well as postoperative problems in pediatric and adult surgical cases in cardio-
thoracic surgery areas. 3. To acquire knowledge, skills and experience in dealing with patients undergoing cardiac or
thoracic surgery.
4. Becomes familiar with recent developments in perioperative anesthetic care to this area of
practice.

Course Aims: The aim of this course is to upgrade the candidate abilities in:
1. Gain mastery in the delivery of safe and effective perioperative anaesthetic care to patients
undergoing elective and emergency complex/major abdominal surgeries
2. To be capable of undertaking the perioperative anaesthetic care to a wide variety of
complex elective and emergency laparoscopic surgeries
3. To acquire knowledge, skills and experience treating complex clinical cases of trauma, geriatric, and endocrinal surgery
4. Becomes familiar with recent developments in perioperative anaesthetic care to this area of
practice, to evaluate these developments and to advise colleagues of useful changes in
practice
5. Ability to manage extremely complex outpatient surgeries
