TREATY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I wish to acknowledge that we are

blessed to live and work alongside

tremendous educators and

wonderful students on Treaty 4

territory, traditional lands of the

nêhiyawak, nahkawé, and nakota

nations, and homeland of the métis,

lakota, and dakota nations.

PRAYER

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the many gifts of participating in Extra-

Curricular activities. The many activities we have at Riffel

provide opportunities to build community, to do

something we love, to try something new, to grow and

evolve into all that you know we can be. During this time

that we are a part, it is even more evident the ways our

souls long for extra-curricular activities. May your infinite

perspective provide us the eyes to reflect on the gifts that

participating this year has brought into our lives. May your

loving and healing embrace bring us the opportunity to

gather as a community again and fully embrace joy that

extra-curricular activities bring into our lives. Amen.

AWARDS

Although times are prohibiting us from celebrating together as a school community, we wanted to do something special to

recognize our Riffel students who participate wholeheartedly in extra-curricular activities committing their time and efforts to

making Riffel a community of pride, sportsmanship, inclusion and respect.

Most Valuable Participant Awards

Awarded to students who are leaders, who put the team/group ahead of themselves, have a high level of skill and commitment, persevere when times get tough, and participate with Royal pride and sportsmanship.
