• Ordinance No. 1-2019 - ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATIONLIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK (N.J.S.A. 40A: 4-45.14)Purpose Statement: The purpose of this ordinance is to exceed the State mandated COLA percentage of 2.5%and increase to 3.5% and to bank the difference between the Township's final appropriation subject to the capand 3.5%.

RESOLUTION NO. 049-2019

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF (1) 2018 FORD F150 POLICE RESPONDER (W1P) XL 4WD SUPERCREW 5.5’ BOX WHICH WAS PURCHASED FROM BEYER FORD BY THE COUNTY OF

SUSSEX IN THE AMOUNT OF $41,418.37

WHEREAS, the office of the Sussex County Prosecutor manages a forfeited asset fund for municipalities within the County of Sussex that can be expended for law enforcement use; and

WHEREAS, Byram Township Chief of Police has requested to expend a portion of their forfeiture allocation on a first response vehicle for the Byram Township Police Department; and

WHEREAS, the County of Sussex purchased one (1) 2018 Ford F150 Police Responder (W1P) XL 4WD Supercrew 5.5’ Box for Byram Township by through the Sussex County Prosecutor’s forfeited asset fund from Beyer Ford in the Amount of $41,418.37.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Byram Township Council hereby accepts the donation of (1) 2018 Ford F150 Police Responder (W1P) XL 4WD Supercrew 5.5’ Box for Byram Township from the County of Sussex with a value of $41,418.37.
