Fiesta Food Meeting

All groups serving food and beverages on the Fiesta grounds and cooking auditorium dinners please plan to attend the planning meeting on Monday, June 27th at 7 p.m. in the Parish Center Round Room. All groups
must have at least ONE representative attend this important planning meeting. This is the final food and dinner group meeting. Please do not miss this vital meeting. The following parish groups will need to attend: Mary Star Elementary School, Mary Star High School, Hispanic Group, Croatian Catholic Family Guild, Filipino Community, Italian Catholic Federation, Daughters of Isabella, St. Anne - Saturday Dinner, Velike Gospe Society - Sunday Dinner, St. Joseph Table, and the San Pietro Society.
Attention Future Underwriters Our Annual Fiesta is quickly approaching and in addition to being wonderful fun for the family, the Fiesta is also our Parish’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds provide much-needed financial support & allows us to continue serving out Schools & Parish. Fiesta Badges & Badge Room Please turn in a list of the total number of Fiesta Volunteer Badges your group will need for the weekend of the Fiesta to the Rectory by July 6th. All volunteers MUST wear their badges at all times. Room 103 in the Elementary School will be the Badge Room. All groups and volunteers must pick up their booth’s badges here. Additionally, the sign in & out for MSHS & MSSE parents, students & youth ministry students will be here. Service hours will only be given to those who signed in & out.
Midway Games The Fiesta Grounds will be filled with carnival rides for adults and children! Game & raffle booths will be run by volunteers, parents, MSSE & MSHS students, parish groups and societies! Special Thanks to the Baque Brothers & Classic Rides

Booth Sponsorship Signs Over the past 69 years, the Mary Star Fiesta has become a Harbor Area summer tradition which attracts over 20,000 visitors annually. Become a Fiesta sponsor! How is the Queen Chosen? The 2016 Fiesta Queen is chosen by a combination of votes cast on Yellow parish tickets and votes that she receives from the Pink tickets. The Fiesta Queen does NOT receive votes from the Blue bonus tickets. If the Fiesta Princess’ name is not specified on the Yellow parish tickets or on the Pink tickets, the Candidate will NOT receive a vote! We ask that you please vote for your Fiesta Queen Candidate on all of your tickets stubs (yellow & pink). The 2016 Fiesta Queen contest will end on Sunday, July 19th. All votes must be in by 5 PM to count in the contest. No exceptions. Crowning will be this same day at 7:30 pm.
