School Facilities Arkansas was recently recognized by School Dude for being a model state when it comes to being proactive in keeping our schools safe, secure, and ready to withstand natural disasters. ADE team member Terry Granderson received the National School Plant Management Association's Pat Cochran Memorial Award for his leadership and work, whichhas made a model for other states.
School Nutrition is bringing a decline in childhood obesity to our Arkansas students. Our team was recognized by the National School Nutrition Association for the work being done through the National School Lunch Program and Fresh Fruits and Vegetables program.
