Activities
External Works:
Removal of phase 2 scaffold.
Removal of next section of temporary roof.
Continue roof works (phases 2 and 3), including joinery new dormer, glazing to roof lights and new sarking and leadwork.
Painting of phase 3 window frames
Deliveries/removals into/from Old College Quad – before 8.45am (every morning Monday – Friday)
Internal Works:
Ongoing M&E installation Phases 1, 2 and 3
Ongoing partitioning Phases 1, 2 and 3.
Plastering and plaster repairs
Painting and Decoration
Refurbishment of windows and installation of new secondary glazing.
Install drainage and new concrete slabs to lower ground floor (phases 2 and 3)
Install oak veneered teaching walls.
Install secondary steelwork for lift in main stair.
Screed treads on main staircase
Installing soft floor finishes in phases 1 & 2
Installation of new steel lintels to lower ground floor Phase 2 at feature stair.
Location of works: Law School Project Site (northern half of Old College), South Side of Chambers Street, South Bridge, West College Street

Data Technology Institute (DTI) Main Contractor – McLaughlin and Harvey Construction Activities
Installation of M&E services to all levels
Perimeter wall partitioning continuing to all levels.
Concrete finishing ongoing to walls and soffits throughout the building
Steel erection to courtyard elevation
Erect internal walls on levels 1,2, 3, 4 and 5
Continue plastering to internal walls
Install doors into glazed office partitions
Continue installation of raised access flooring
Install glazing to atrium screen
Continue works to existing level 4 roof
Carry out hot melt works to roof level (6)
Install granite cladding to bike pend walls
Carry out general repairs to precast cladding panels
Lifting existing road on Marshall Street ahead of landscaping works
Install timber flooring within cafe
The site’s tower crane is to be removed on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April. A full road closure of Potterrow will be in place during this removal. This was rescheduled for a second time due to high winds.

Activities
Continue with soft strip of services and materials throughout the building (zones 9-12)
Continue to remove asbestos containing materials from the building.
Continue with hand demolition of zone 4
Soft strip zones 9,10,11,12,13,14
Phase 4A scaffolding on going.
Phase 4A stone cleaning, roof and masonry works
Installation of zone 14 retention system and separation at zones 3 and 4
Scaffold alterations throughout
Clearing of demolition materials from zone 3
Gatehouse demolition works complete
Carry out temporary roof repairs and temporary weathering to multiple zones
All vehicle movements take place under the control of trained vehicle banksmen
Dry rot works ongoing (removals, treatment and replacement). Currently zones 8 and 12. Inspections in zone 10 and 11.
Dust suppression control measures are in place.

Form concrete plinth in Informatics HV room (Monday)
Lift the concrete access hatch over the basement of the Dugald Stewart Building (within the Bayes Centre site) Welding
Welding of pipework in Zone 5 Electrical
Install new transformer into basement of Informatics Forum (Thursday 12th)
The closure of the north side of George Square will remain in place until June 2018
