together.Setting – busy and attractive area of town gives

way to a, “sinister block of building...”

Description of the door shows it is run down and uncared-for.

First encounter with Hyde - description of his figure – small and stumpy.

Actions after walking over the child – “calmly over the child’s body...”

Juggernaut – Hindi idol.Reaction of people to Hyde – instant loathing.

Pg 13 & 14

The questioning of his link to Jekyll.Supposition of blackmail.Enfield’s desire to avoid questions and

remain in ignorance if it, “looks like Queer Street,”.

No one but Hyde uses the door – not fit for others to use.

15 & 16

Hyde’s face looks “wrong”. Disliked but with no clear reason for it.

Extraordinary but bland.
