THE SPIRIT OF OFFENSE HAS COME…..

PART 1 DOMINION CHRISTIAN CENTER

All these are the beginning of

sorrows. Then shall they deliver

you up to be afflicted, and shall

kill you: and ye shall be hated of

all nations for my name's sake.

And then shall many be

offended, and shall betray one

another, and shall hate one

another. And many false

prophets shall rise, and shall

deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many

shall wax cold.

Matthew 24:8-12

THEY WERE ALL OFFENDED!

8 All this is but the beginning [the early pains]

of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish].

9 Then they will hand you over to suffer

affliction and tribulation and put you to death,

and you will be hated by all nations for My

name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended and

repelled and will begin to distrust and

desert, Him Whom they ought to trust

and obey, and will stumble and fall

away and betray one another and

pursue one another with hatred.

11 And many false prophets will rise

up and deceive and lead many into

error. 12 And the love of the great

body of people will grow cold

because of the multiplied

lawlessness and iniquity,

BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE OF WICKEDNESS,

THE LOVE OF MOST WILL GROW COLD.

Rejection of God's Word

Because man has rejected God's Word, he has been given over to a reprobate mind that seeks self-gratification over

responsibility to others.

The word “antinomianism” comes from two Greek words, anti,

meaning "against"; and nomos, meaning "law." Antinomianism

means “against the law.”

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful

desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for

the degrading of their bodies with one

another. They exchanged the truth of God for a

lie, and worshiped and served created things

rather than the Creator--who is forever

praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to

shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged

natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same

way the men also abandoned natural relations

with women and were inflamed with lust for

one another. Men committed indecent acts with

other men, and received in themselves the due

penalty for their perversion.

Furthermore, since they did not think it

worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he

gave them over to a depraved mind, to do

what ought not to be done. They have become

filled with every kind of wickedness, evil,

greed and depravity. They are full of envy,

murder, strife, deceit and malice.

They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing

evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such

things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who

practice them.

LIBERTY, THEY THEMSELVES ARE THE SERVANTS OF CORRUPTION: FOR OF WHOM A MAN IS OVERCOME, OF THE SAME IS HE BROUGHT IN

BONDAGE.

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of

money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their

parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love,

unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal,

not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited,

lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--

having a form of godliness but denying its power.

2 Timothy 3:2-5

The Apostle Paul said that in the last days

man would be "brutal." The Greek,

'anemeros' literally means "untamed,

savage, or brutal." He also said that the last

days man would be not be lovers of the

good - possibly better translated as "haters

of the good."

“The amount of deviant behavior in American

society has increased beyond the levels the

community can 'afford to recognize' and that,

accordingly, we have been re-defining deviancy so

as to except much conduct previously stigmatized,

and also quietly raising the 'normal' level in

categories where behavior is now abnormal by any

earlier standard."

"While the severity of actions range from simple cheating at school to pushing drugs, to cold-

blooded murders, the depth of the problem has reached a point where common decency can no longer be described as common. Somewhere,

somehow, the traditional value system got disconnected for a disturbing number of America's

next generation."

THE CHURCH CANNOT HELP THE WORLD BECAUSE WE ARE A

DIVORCED FAITH. THE CHURCH IS MORE

DIVIDED THAN OUR NATION.
