The Royal Athenaeum Pierre Paulus is situated in 100 Gaux street, 6200 Châtelet, in Belgium.

Who was Pierre Paulus? Pierre Paulus was a painter, He was born in Charleroi on the

16th of March 1881 and he died in Brussels on the 17th of August 1959.He is famous for having painted the Walloon flag and landscapes of our dark cities.

The nature in our school

It’s the only school which has its own park in our city.

We have 1 football field and 2 futsal fields.

We also have a puddle with different plants.

The Sections

There are three sections: pre-school, primary and secondary.

In secondary, you have the choice between: general and technical options.

The sections

In the technical section you have: Plastics processing industry, accounting, mechanics and commercial.

In the general section you have: sciences, languages, economy,

history, social sciences…

The philosophical choice

In our school like in each Athenaeum you must choose a philosophical course.There are 4 possibilities:
