Adapted from the Tortoise and the Hare

On day in the bikini bottom a very slow starfish named Patrick and a super fast

yellow kid named Bart. Bart made a bicycle contest and Patrick joined. Bart said to

Patrick “Race me to the Krusty Krab’’. “Ok” said Patrick’.

Later that day the race began. On your mark get set go. Then Bart was in the lead and decided to do tricks. He was showing off. This slowed him

down .

While Bart did that Patrick was going 4 miles per hour but caught up to him. Bart took a long break and napped

because he thought he was going to win for sure. While that happened somehow Patrick caught up to Bart and then

Patrick fell on the finish line before Bart could notice and move another step. So now Bart knows slow and steady

wins the race. Maybe he shouldn’t take so many breaks or show off so much.

The moral of the story is slow and steady wins the race.
