Accommodation is available at The Nautilus in our 21 newly-renovated beach bungalows.

The Nautilus Hotel is conveniently situated off the main arterial route, on Wimbe Beach - the finest and most pristine shoreline in Pemba.

The climate is tropical humid. Average annual temperature ranges from 22°C to 32°C. The hot rainy season usually runs from December to April.

The main draw of the sunny seaside town of Pemba is long Wimbe beach, 5km down the coast.

Thatched seaside bungalows on the tropical white, sandy Wimbe Beach.

The bungalows are set amongst shady trees, just paces away from the shoreline.

The Nautilus restaurant and bar overlooks the warm Indian Oceanwhere guests can relax.

Guests can relax on the central sundeck, or cool off in the fresh water rimflow pool.

The restaurant and bar, situated close to the rimflow pool and overlooking the sea, seats a capacity of up to 60 guests indoors and 140 guests outdoors.

The prime destination for water sports and diving enthusiasts as a coral reef lies close to the shore.

Outdoors and at the pool, a comprehensive snack menu is on offer.

Magnificent views, The Nautilus Hotel is the perfect location for fishing, sailing and water sports.

Interlinked with wooden walkways, the bungalows each have a small patio, 2 bedrooms and a common bathroom.

Just minutes away from the Pemba Town and Harbour, and only 3km from Pemba Airport.

The dry season is from May to November, with an average temperature of 28°C in the day. The seawater temperature ranges from 25°C to 30°C .

Cool and comfortable, each bedroom is air-conditioned, and equipped with a 32 inch flat screen TV with DSTV decoder, as well as wi-fi.

Guests can relax and soak-up the views with a refreshing drink or some delicious mouth-watering authentic Mozambican cuisine.

The bungalows each have a lounge area , bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Mini-bar facilities are available on request.

The Nautilus Bar is open daily from Monday to Thursday: 10h00 – 23h00Friday to Sunday: 10h00 – 01h00

The air-conditioned indoor restaurant offers a semi-formal atmosphere, with the option of an a la Carte or buffet menu (depending on hotel occupancy).

An additional 81 NEW ROOMS are scheduled to be built in Phase 2, which will commence in the latter half of 2014

A great restaurant serving traditional Mozambican fare and a convivial beach-side bar complete the picture.

A wide variety of exotic cocktails are available as well as the usual fare.

SA Airlink operates 5 days per week and flys directly to Pemba from OR Tambo International Airport.

LAM – Mozambique Airlines offer flights to and from Pemba from Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam , Nairobi as well as local flights from Maputo , Nampula and Beira

The big future for African gas lies to the east of the continent where massive offshore gas deposits have been discovered in northern Mozambique just 250 km North of Pemba.

The Pemba / Palma region is about to attract extensive foreign investment as new Ports , Airports , Roads and a $20 Billion LNG Plant are built.

The development of the LNG plant could bring substantial commercial opportunities such as power generation, fertilizer plants and steel making that can benefit
