Stavros Grillis

Stavros Grillis is an 11 year old kid from the island of Kos. Although, in his every day life he appears to be a normal kid that goes to school, does his homework and is being nagged at by his mom because he won't eat all his food sometimes.

The reason Stavros is somewhat special though, is because he is said to be the world's youngest drifter. What's more surprising, is that Stavros has been drifting for 3 years now.

Last year, he followed the whole championship of Driftwars traveling around Greece and impressing the crowds by executing runs that could be easily be compared to those of some of the top Driftwars drivers.

This year, with the help of his sponsors Motul, Momo, Tountas Garage, DTA Taxopoulos service he is hoping to follow the Driftwars championship as well as visit some other races abroad.

Guys from National Geographic filming the impossible. A nine year old kid in a racing car, is not learning the basics in driving, but giving a show drifting. Forget the classic picture of a children giving it’s teacher an apple, we re talking about weight transitions, clutch kicks, and spooling turbos.
