*Emily Adama is a July 2015 graduate of the University of Michigan with a Masters in Social Work specializing in Interpersonal Practice and Mental Health. She provides a compassionate
and collaborative therapeutic approach informed by training in MBCT and other
mindfulness-based therapies, as well as two years experience providing support to
individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and addiction.
The Mindful Path through Depression offers a supportive setting where you learn mindfulness
skills to relate differently to the difficult thoughts, emotions and body sensations common in
depression. We explore the territory of depression together, utilizing Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) - a skill-based approach proven
effective at freeing individuals from chronic depression and anxiety. www.mbct.com
