The ERP industry`s best kept secretabas receives excellent ratings at ERP satisfaction surveys
(excerpt from the studies: ERP in practice, i2s, Konradin ERP Study and ERP-Z)

Customer Satisfaction
Selecting an ERP system is a critical business decision. Market share, brand awareness or functionality do not on their own guarantee an ideal selection. Market surveys can provide clarity and information from real users when considering a new ERP provider. According to third-party studies, abas users have been among the most satisfied. Important questions to ask include: How satisfied are ERP users with their solution? How do users rate their software vendors? What is important to ERP users? The results confirm that abas is the best decision for a cost-effective, adaptive and high-performance ERP solution. For years, abas users have been among those most satisfied and rate abas Business Suite in ERP studies, such as i2s, Trovarit and Konradin ERP study with top grades.
“We have a high demand for software flexibility because we have to cover very different business areas and processes, and the tasks often change due to the growth of Pankl. Generally, in the motorsports industry we must work with very short time periods from development to supply. This involves a high level of detailed and flexible planning. Also, extremely short lead times must be realized in production. The abas ERP complete solution supports us optimally in this aspect.” Daniel Konrad, ERP Manager, Pankl Racing Systems AG

Customer Satisfaction That is important for ERP users!
Expectations users have of their business software and to which degree these expectations are met are decisive factors for customer satisfaction. Use in practice which is realized by an ERP system is also important for user satisfaction.
Examples of user expectations regarding ERP providers and ERP solutions:
• Future-proof and investment secure business software which keeps up to date with the technology status even in 10 years • A long-term release strategy and continual, unlimited development of the software • Representation of standard business processes • Full integration of all functions • Industry sector know-how • Adaptability to company-specific tasks • Workplace tailored to individual requirements • User-friendliness and easy learnability • Reliability of the ERP provider or system vendor • Support during implementation and upgrade • Responding to customer requirements

Trovarit study: Comparing ERP software solutions
The importance of ERP in midsize companies facing resource challenges cannot be underestimated. How satisfied are users with their solutions and the benefits their ERP systems provide? To answer these questions, Trovarit, together with their partners, performed their sixth study since 2004 to see exactly how ERP systems are being used. The study brought to light details about which systems companies are actually implementing and exactly how satisfied users are with the daily operation of these systems. The study was based on a survey conducted between the end of March and middle of July, 2012. The survey included 2,518 companies. After a rigorous quality review, a total of 2,159 evaluations were used to determine the final ratings.

“We have very high requirements regarding flexibility of the software since we have to cover very different business areas and processes and also because requirements change often – due to Pankl‘s growth. Generally, in the car racing industry we must, for example, work with very short periods from development to supply. This means we must plan in detail and flexibly. Extremely short processing periods must also be realized. The abas Business Suite optimally supports us here.” Daniel Konrad, ERP Manager, Pankl Racing Systems
Recommendation:
In connection with user satisfaction it is also interesting to know if the solution used would be recommended to others. The survey also provides answers to this question, according to region.

ERP access on the go
Mobile solutions with smartphones or tablets have become the standard as mobility plays an even bigger role in our living and working environments. Apps for iPad, iPhone, Android and other devices have become more than just a trend – they can be a decisive competitive edge for companies. Now you can also have mobile access to your company data using abas!
Intuitive operations and automatic user interface (UI) adjustments to fit any display size. When you switch from using abas on a smartphone to using it on a tablet, content will not only be larger, but the structure and layout are also adjusted to take full advan-tage of the display area. For smaller displays, for example, product information is pre-sented in layered blocks, while for larger displays the entire width of the device can be used and more information provided at once. If the data are comprehensive and cannot be displayed in a single view, then a product full text search will be automatically completed.
Mobile SalesThe abas Mobile Sales solution allows you to access your customer and prospect data, as well as manage abas sales and CRM processes. Users can search for customers in their current vicinity, connect to mobile Email clients, and access, edit or create quotes, orders, invoices, tasks and notes in abas.
