INTRODUCTION
• Budget is one of the country's monetary policy
• As the country provisions• Budget is different for any time years• The study only focused on the budget for
the health sector in 2014, 2015, 2016• 2014- RM 10.5 billion• 2015- RM 12.6 billion• 2016 – RM 13.1 billion
OBJECTIVES• Know the amount of the allowance given
to the health sector• Making comparisons of allocation
between 2014-2016.• The type of goods involved in exports
and imports in the health sector.• Review the benefits that people get from
the budget.
DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH SECTOR in 2015
• Tax exemption was increased from RM 5,000 to RM 6,000 per year for patients who take treatment for serious illnesses such as cancer
• The exemption granted to a taxpayer, spouse and children• 2 new hospitals will be built• 20 health clinics and four dental clinics will be built• The establishment of more than 30 clinics 1 Malaysia for a
total of 290 pieces• Replace the 635 units of hemodialysis machines in
hospitals and clinics to RM 30 million• Provide more space in government hospitals and clinics to
place about 244 hemodialysis machine• RM 45.4 million will be spend to provide medicine for
patients that are doing hemodialysis
Development health sector in 2016
• 5 new hospital will be set up• improvements hospital (facilities and services)• RM 110,010 million will be allocated for the new Health
College• RM 473,925 million for hospital facilities• RM 16 million for the renovation and repair• RM 242,921 million for urban and rural health services• RM 38 million for research and development in health
sector• RM 72 million for medical aid• RM 4.6 billion will be used to purchase medicine for
government hospitals and clinics• Improving ambulatory services 1Malaysia in Sabah and
Sarawak, including the purchase of boats and new vehicles
IMPORT IN HEALTH SECTOR
• expertise, medicines and treatment machines• Espicom Business Intelligence (2015) estimated import
growth in the market will increase by 9.1% per year, and will reach a total of US $ 1.9 billion or US $ 61 per capita by 2016.
• Pharmacy RM7.22 billion -2014RM 7.88 billion-2015• Health tourism• There are 671.727 tourists coming to Malaysia for
medical purposes in 2012.This of course tourists will pay the cost of treatment and this will also increase the country's economy.
EKSPORT IN HEALTH SECTOR
• Surgical gloves and catheters • Surgical gloves - 2014 – RM 1,265.4 juta –
Jan until September 2015 RM 987. 2 juta• Catheters – 2014- RM 428. 1 juta- Jan until
September 2015 RM241.2 juta• voluntary and doctors sent by the
association MERCY• cooperation between the Malaysian and
foreign, especially ASEAN
WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN 2016• Medical aid – hemodalisis RM 72 juta• 33 clinics built – RM 52 juta• Upgrading of rural cliniccs, medical, dental
clinic adn quarters• No medical subsidy for foreignersBenefit budget in the health sector to public• Reduce the burden of the people – tax
exemption of RM5000- RM 6000 a year• Benefit for people who live at Terengganu and
Perak• Additional 224 hemodialysis machines• Replacement old goods to new goods – RM
258 juta
CONCLUSION
• Many benefits that have been made by the government to the people
• Many provisions for welfare of the people whether staff and citizens
• Each provision is growing every year
