Setting: At their school, auditioning for their music show

Problem: Jean and Aldo both play the cello and only one can be in the show.

Solution: When Aldo’s string breaks on his cello, Jean lends him her cello because he is the better cellist for their show.

Jean is waiting for the odishun to begin for their music show at school.

Jean became worried when Aldo came in with his cello. They both play cello and there is only room for one.

Mis Small, the music teacher, called Aldo to be the first student to odishun for the show.

During his odishun , Aldo’s string breaks on his cello while he is playing.

Aldo did not have a spare string. Jean was happy at first but then wondered who would be the better cellist for

the show.

Jean thinks of the show and lends Aldo her cello so he can complete his odishun .

Summary

In “The odishun ”, Jean lends Aldo her cello during the odishun for their school music show when his string

breaks on his cello. Jean puts aside her feelings because she wants to do what is right for the show.
