JOIN US FOR DENTAL HEALTH CLASSES
AT SCM IN FEBRUARY!
My Kid's Dentist and Orthodontics is partnering with the SacramentoKid's Museum for National Children's Oral Hygiene Month. They will begiving four presentations during the month of February - eachWednesday of the month at 10:30am. These presentations areeducational and very interactive! The idea is to teach children properbrushing techniques, how to floss and good food to eat! Each child willbe given a toothbrush kit at the end of the presentation. Can't wait to seeyou there!

SCM will be participating in Sacramento Association of Museums (SAM) FreeMuseum Day on February 2, 2013 from 10 am - 5 pm. Due to capacity,visitors will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis. We are asking forguests to limit their stay to 1 hour to allow as many visitors to experience theMuseum on this free day. We suggest lining up for entrance at 9 amSaturday. SCM is expecting large crowds and cannot guarantee entry(including members!) on Free Museum Day. SCM does require children tobe accompanied by an adult, and adults to be accompanied by children. Formore information or additional questions, please contact Sharon Stone

FEBRUARY: CHINA!Don't miss Cultural Connections:
Thursdays at 11am (new session!) and 3:30pm (new time!):
January 24: un, deux, trois: Learn to count in French as we discoverjust how many people around the world speak French.
January 31: La Chandeleur - Crêpe Day: Celebrate this special Frenchholiday with us by eating crepes, learning some proverbs and playinggames. February 7: Are you ready to learn about Chinese etiquette? Comebrush up on your chopstick skills as we learn about food, table manners,and being polite.
February 14: Do they have a Valentine's Day in China and if so, whatdoes it have to do with the weaving maid? Come learn the answer to thatquestion and a few more things about the Chinese that might surpriseyou. February 21: Celebrate Chinese New Year, the year of the snake, withus! We will be making lanterns, singing songs, and writing in Chinese! February 28: Chinese Parade: March in a Chinese New Year paradewith us as we pound on drums and make our dragons dance.
