THE NEW PRESTIGE BRAND: STRENGTH AND ELEGANCE
In the image of the PRESTIGE 500, the new signature of the PRESTIGE FLYBRIDGE line is based on two key principles: harmony in design and assurance of power and safety.
Harmony in Design The elegant, distinctive design of this fl ybridge features an even more elongated profi le and a stronger personality. Its contemporary interior design showcases innova-tion in the concept and layout of living spaces, incorporating clever details for enhanced comfort and products of skilled craftsmanship for a touch of luxury.
Power and SafetyThe exceptional savoir-faire of Prestige is evident in the marrying of skilled craftsmanship with the latest technology in order to offer the best and most innovative equipment, particularly with regard to engine power, fuel effi ciency and safety onboard.
PRESENTATION

PRESENTATION
Optimal comfort on deckThe deck plan is designed to facilitate life onboard, with wide sidedecks, a sheltered forward sundeck with sun awning, and a vast cockpit leading to a hydraulic aft swim platform and pivoting gangway. Located near the galley and sheltered by the large fl ybridge, the cockpit affords direct access to the bright, spacious aft cabin with independent head and shower compartment.
An XXL fl ybridgeThe fl ybridge on the PRESTIGE 550 is the key strength of this model. Of excep-tional size for a 55-foot motor yacht, it is accessed by an open stairway. This fl ybridge of impressive dimensions has all the comfort of a large motor yacht: a generous sundeck, true twin seating at the helm, a galley and a large table and lounge area.
Interior space reinventedThe interior design revisits those concepts that made the PRESTIGE 500 a suc-cess, and the fi rst of these is creating an immense living space on a single level. In direct communication with the cockpit and the saloon, the spacious galley is perfectly and discretely integrated into the overall interior design, cen-trally located to serve both interior and exterior. No longer separated from the living space on board, the open galley becomes the centre of that space, a detail that is sure to please the chef!
The central galley is ideally located to service the saloon and the cockpit.
The spacious saloon boasts a 360° panoramic view, with plenty of comfortable seating for all on board, whether at sea or at anchor.
A professional helm station affords excellent visibility and features ergonomic seating for two, for perfect control over the navigation instruments, including two 12" multifunctional displays, engine throttles and a joystick, all ideally located within easy reach. But the Prestige 550 features many more strong points: The central galley is ideally located to serve the saloon, and with a 360 ° panoramic view, it is both comfortable and functional, whether at sea or at port.
A professional helm station features seating for two, excellent visibility, and an ergonomic design to facilitate control of navigation instruments: two large 12» multifunctional displays, engine throttle controls and the joystick, all ideally located within easy reach.
The owner’s suite is immense. Accessed by a private stairway, the suite fea-tures a large lateral window in the hull, bathing the room in natural light and affording an impressive view of the sea.
The owner’s shower and head compartment is equally impressive. With adjoi-ning head compartment, shower and walk-in closet, it features all the comforts of a motor yacht of over 60 feet!
Toward the bow, the forward cabins form an independent living area, with a ge-nerously sized head compartment and separate shower. A clever layout yields exceptional volume in this living area, with the added benefi t of a dedicated space for a washing machine located under the stairway.
CONCEPT

PRESENTATION
The spacious guest cabin features a double berth that can be converted into two single berths. The third cabin features two single berths that can be converted into a double berth.
The ideal pairing of hull / propulsionA forerunner in the fi eld of POD propulsion, PRESTIGE has already accumula-ted more experience than the competition and has designed a special hull for superior performance with the new propulsion system. A fi nely tapered, V–sha-ped, planing hull and an engine placed slightly forward for optimum weight dis-tribution contribute to the PRESTIGE reputation for building all-weather hulls, renowned for their seakeeping ability and outstanding performance.
In conducting research for the hull of the PRESTIGE 500 and in collaboration with the J&J naval design cabinet, the hull has been carefully studied and designed to yield the best performance with twin CUMMINS QSC 600 HP en-gines, equipped with ZEUS 3800 PODS. This pairing offers numerous advan-tages: guaranteed easy handling by joystick control, enhanced comfort due to reduced noise and vibration, and increased fuel effi ciency by around 20 % over a conventional propulsion system, as well as the availability of optional automatic trim tabs.
CONCEPT (continued)
By placing the engines as far forward as possible, the Garroni design cabinet found two distinct advantages: moving the centre of gravity forward yielded better balance on the motor yacht while also freeing a signifi cant amount of space to the aft, allowing for the creation of a generously sized, independent aft cabin.
Choosing the latest technologyLastly, the shipyard has adopted the very latest production methods and tech-nology to offer higher levels of quality and comfort.
An infusion-moulded hull and deck, the ultimate design solution, ensure grea-ter solidity, rigidity and weight savings.
High-performance, optional equipment to enhance comfort onboard includes: powerful air conditioning adaptable to any climate, the latest generation of HIFI, a gyroscopic stabiliser, and a hydraulic swim platform.
The PRESTIGE 550 benefi ts from the latest technological innovations, taking its current place of honour among models in the PRESTIGE range by truly sim-plifying life onboard and offering exceptional quality and comfort to demanding customers in the market for a motor yacht of this size.

SEAKEEPER : THE BEST STABILISING SOLUTION. FOR ULTIMATE COMFORT OF THE MOST DEMANDING CUSTOMERS.SEAKEEPER MODEL 8000 A
“Rocking the boat” is an expression for upsetting things for good reason. Boat roll is the most disorienting contrast with dry land experience and the least desirable motion on a boat leaving aside sinking. Uncomfortable, tiring, and probably the greatest cause of seasickness it has, until now, been an unavoidable price to pay for the pleasure of being on the water.
With advent of the Seakeeper Gyro, that is changed forever. Using a device known as a “Control Moment Gyro” and employing the magical principles of gyrodynamics, it exerts a powerful righting force that virtually eliminates boat roll without any need for drag-producing protrusions from the boat hull. Like the control moment gyros used to position spacecraft, it has a fl ywheel that spins in a near vacuum, thus virtually eliminating air friction, making for low power consumption and weight.
Controlled by state of the art motion sensors and computer processors, it is one of the more astonishing uses of technology to improve human comfort. The Seakeeper Model 7000 Gyro is designed for boats up to approximately 55’ in length for single unit installations and for larger boats when fi tted with multiple units. Seakeeper Gyro technology offers numerous advantages over fi n-based roll stabilization systems. Fin systems are speed dependent always balancing fi n size with projected cruising speed to create minimum drag for desired performance. The result is that at zero speed they have no effect and at less than cruising speed performance drops off sharply. In contrast, the Seakeeper Gyro remains fully effective from zero speed right through planing speeds, including the roughest conditions when the boat has to slow down. Because the gyro requires no protrusions from the hull, it is not subject to snagging seaweed and fl otsam or to damagefrom grounding.

DESIGNED FOR PROTECTION > If the pod drive strikes debris, the rear-facing propellers are protected by the pod gearcase and skeg.
Additionally, by mounting the pod drive in a tunnel, the torpedo on the drive is the same depth as the keel. Most floating objects will be deflected downward by the keel and skeg, away from the propellers. Should the unit come into contact with a substantial object, the skeg is designed to shear below the torpedo, minimizing damage to the drive and costly repair bills.
By designing a rear-facing pod drive mounted in a tunnel, we offer maneuverability and efficiency improvement, without sacrificing protection.
Clean, Quiet & Comfortable >
Because CMD Zeus Pods utilize counter-rotating propellers and are
mounted on large rubber grommets, gear noise and vibration are
significantly reduced for a quiet and comfortable ride. With a
foundation of quiet and clean-running Quantum engines, already-low
engine exhaust is nearly eliminated by venting exhaust gases through
the propeller hubs where the water flow leaves it in your wake.

Enhanced Maneuverability >
Get performance more like a luxury sports car than the
typical yacht. Each pod turns independently, resulting in
much greater turning efficiency and responsiveness.
Reliable, responsive hydraulic power steers the pods and
actuates the integrated trim tabs. Trim tabs are automated to
improve visibility during acceleration and optimize
performance and fuel economy at all speeds. The rear-facing
pod with through-hub exhaust facilitates a very tight turning radius. Counter-rotating propellers
eliminate lateral forces, giving completely straight tracking. At the helm, a self-centering wheel,
customizable steering response, and a tilt wheel give a whole new meaning to the word cruise.
& Ease of Use
Skyhook® Station Keeping >
Envision having the ability to pull up to a busy fuel dock and wait in line
without having to constantly tend to your controls to stay in place,
or imagine fishing a jetty by yourself without ever stepping to the helm.
With the touch of a button, the Skyhook feature maintains your vessel’s
position and heading, even in strong currents and windy conditions.
Maneuverability/Ease of Use
• Intuitive joystick system with proportional thrust provides easy, stress-free docking experience, even in wind and current.
• Skyhook holds boat position and heading, perfect for waiting for a bridge opening, or hovering over a prime fishing spot
• Advanced Autopilot is integrated, and it provides both autoheading and waypoint tracking
• Automated, integrated trim tabs, when activated, constantly self adjust to provide the optimum running attitude at all speeds, relieving the captain of tedius manual adjustment. They also reduce time to plane and improve the captain’s vision over the bow during acceleration
Performance/Efficiency
• Zeus technology results in improved fuel economy, faster cruise speed and higher top speed compared to inboard propulsion
• Trim tabs automatically adjust to provide the most efficient running angle, no matter what speed the boat is traveling
• Twin counter-rotating propellers and hydrodynamic gearcase design apply thrust horizontally – not on a downward angle – make CMD Zeus inherently more efficient that a conventional shaft-driven system
Protection
• Robust, tunnel-mounted pods with rear-facing stainless steel propellers for industry-leading defense against damage from debris and grounding
• Shearable skeg designed to break free on mild to moderate strikes, minimizing harm to the pod
• Pod designed to break away – without compromising watertight integrity – in the event of a major collision or hard grounding that might otherwise result in hull damage
• Covered by CMD’s exclusive Marine Repair Logistics service (see pg. 26)
