Tigers Rugby Club, who areplaying host to the Tongannational team during thetournament. Along withsome of the club’s 1st teamplayers as props (excuse the pun!), threerather well defined, beefy guys and twoexquisite doll-like girls add to the picture -rather like beauty and the beasts… Howwas this going to be made glamorous? Mymemories of prep school rugby in the windand rain, embarrassing the sight out of myson and his school was never a memory ofhigh fashion (fun though!).

We used the ‘Raging Bull’ clothing brand,

a local success story started by formerEngland and Gloucester rugby legend, PhilVickery with a consortium of businesspeople and now a global menswear range.For the ladies wear I wanted to showcasethe wonderful, very affordable newMalaysian designer ‘Self Portrait’, sold inSelfridges. It’s fun, innovative, differentand very on trend. I also found a fantastic,70’s red inspired dress in River Island alongwith ‘Nana June's’ furs, pearls and a bit ofvintage Jean Paul Gaultier - we were

ready to shoot with our calm and talentedphotographer, Anne-Marie Randall.

The newly opened stylish and coolBarbers, ‘Blakes’ and sister ladies salon‘Blushes’ sorted the tresses and I wasdelighted to work with a new make upartist, Shannon Budden from theCotswolds based Claire HansonMakeup Agency.

A fun day in typical, rugby weather washad by all and I do believe the boysenjoyed the view from the sidelines! >>>
