Program (4) : Energy Labeling for Appliances and EquipmentProgram (4) : Energy Labeling for Appliances and Equipment
• ENERGY Labeling System is way to reduce the use of energy caused by the inefficient use of energy by products and equipments
• Labeling of Air Conditioners, Lamps, Large appliances, water haters, electronics, electric motors, water fixtures
• Irrigation water use shall be reduced through promoting efficient landscaping practices and irrigation technologies as well an maximizing the use of Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE).
• All public areas shall use TSE for landscaping purposes, with remaining TSE capacity to be used by industry
• The objective is to ensure that 80% of Dubai’s green areas are efficiently irrigated and all public areas use treated sewage effluent with extra capacity for other uses by 2030.
Program (5) : Water Reuse and Efficient IrrigationProgram (5) : Water Reuse and Efficient Irrigation
• Reduced power use in outdoor lighting shall be achieved by using more, efficient lighting fixture and expanding the ongoing switch-off initiative for street lights.
• The objective is to implement switch-off program for 30% of residential streets and retrofits of 75% of existing lights by 2030.
Program (6) : Outdoor Lighting Program (6) : Outdoor Lighting
