to summarize, Lizzie and Shawn did the necessary work to generate the spectra for analysis with Paul
but Paul is never quite absolutely happy about, background subtraction and/or binning since he cannot quite get Sammy to fit it
Lizzie and Shawn have sent him several versions and only recently had another round of discussion
I think we are slowly converging
