South Africa Service Tour Itinerary
Day one – 03/04/16 - SUNDAY
Arrive at Perth International airport at 8:00pm – flight departs at 11:50pm.
Say goodbye to family and check in with teachers. (bring tissues)
Day two – 04/04/16 - MONDAY
Arrive Johannesburg airport at 5:00am. Catch a nap and have a lurk until 10:45am when we connect
to Port Elizabeth – arrival at 12:20pm
Meet coach and check in to Willows resort.
2:00pm – head down to Sinethemba shelter to meet Mamma Signoria and Avril Landman. Meet with
kids and play some games
Evening spent unwinding back at Willows resort.
Day three – 05/04/16 - TUESDAY
9:00 am – tour of Alexander Road High School (ARHS)
11:00am – Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tour
2:45pm – Match against ARHS
5:00pm – BRAAI with ARHS players
Day four – 06/04/16 - WEDNESDAY
9:00am - Kragga Kamma game drive
2:20pm – Seven a-side soccer tournament
Evening spent at Willows resort
Day five – 07/04/16 - THURSDAY
9:00am - Drive to Addo Game Park
Arrive at 11:00am
Spend day doing game drives on bus and soaking up the African bush experience
7:00pm – Night game drive
Day six – 08/04/16 – FRIDAY
8:30am – depart for Jehovah Jireh Haven (JJH)
11:00am – arrival at JJH – meet Molly Bam and children
1:00pm – start renovations – afternoon spent renovating
Day seven – 09/04/16 - SATURDAY
Spend day renovating bathrooms and laying sports court.
5:00pm - BIG BRAAI evening held for kids of JJH
Day eight – 10/04/16 – SUNDAY
Spend day renovating bathrooms and laying sports court.
Day nine – 11/04/16 – MONDAY
Spend day renovating bathrooms and laying sports court.
5:00pm - BIG BRAAI evening held for kids of JJH
Day ten – 12/04/16 – TUESDAY
5:30am – depart for Jeffrey’s Bay
8:00am – arrive J-Bay and take in the sights/shop
9:30am – depart for Tsitsikamma forest tours (TFT)
11:30am – arrive TFT and have lunch
12:30am – TFT activity
5:00pm – check in to Southern Comfort accommodation
Day eleven – 13/04/16 – WEDNESDAY
8:30am – Knysna Elephant sanctuary – educational tour
10:00am – Depart for Cape Town (long drive)
3:00pm – arrive at district six accommodation in Cape Town
7:00pm – PSL match at Cape Town Stadium
Day twelve – 14/04/16 – THURSDAY
10:00am – Running soccer clinic at Langa Township primary school
1:00pm – Lunch and explore V&A waterfront
4:00pm – Soccer skills session with Cape Town Soccer Academy boys (CTSA)
6:00pm – Township dinner with CTSA boys @Lelapa restaurant
Day thirteen – 15/04/16 – FRIDAY
10:00am – Robben Island tour
3:00pm – Match vs CTSA
Day fourteen – 16/04/16 - SATURDAY
Table Mountain tour and Cape Peninsula tour (Seal Island)
Day fifteen – 17/04/16 - SUNDAY
10:00am – Participation in Township Gospel service
Afternoon spent doing final gift purchases/beach
3:30pm – arrive at Cape Town International Airport
5:05pm – flight to Johannesburg
7:00pm – arrive Johannesburg
9:20pm – Depart for Perth
Day sixteen – 18/04/16 – MONDAY
12:20pm – Arrive Perth International Airport, tell lots of stories and…

People you will meet on tour
Mr. Kevin Golightly
Head of soccer at Alexander Road High School. An accounting teacher with a huge
heart for service to the community.
Dr. Peter Manser
Dr. Manser is the Head of Alexander Road High School. His leadership and guidance
has been most supportive of our affiliation with ARHS.
Mamma Signoria
Runs the shelter – was herself homeless and has given up her life to care for others.
She is a mother to many and a true example of ‘living selflessness”
Mrs. Molly Bam
Molly gave up her home to orphaned children over twenty years ago. She now has
over one hundred children in her care. Known as “The Mother Theresa of Africa”
Mr. Grant Richards
Grant is a construction manager for a local building company and bring a wealth of
experience and support in the renovation projects at Jehovah Jireh Haven. Top all
round bloke with a big heart for service.
Mr. Khonaye Tuswa
Tour operator and ardent Orlando Pirates supporter. He is a guru on Cape Town’s
history and has a warm African personality.
Mr. Monwabisi Ralarala
A passionate soccer coach and director/head coach of the Cape Town Soccer
Academy. His desire to keep kids involved in soccer and off the streets is
awesome!
