The purpose of this book is for Social Studies teachers to have easy access to Georgia Standards-aligned artworks that drive Social Studies Curriculum. The artworks can be used to make an immediate connection between students and subject matter, and/or as a primary/secondary source of history. This book is designed as a handbook for Social Studies teachers for 6-8th grade students in Georgia. The book utilizes images of Art to help drive Social Studies curriculum.
