Day One. Sunday 16th August – Travel Day
After pick up from your door as usual, you’ll be transferred to Brisbane
airport for our flight to Johannesburg.

On arrival at 5pm. A short walk will bring us to our accommodation for the
evening situated inside the airport building. After check in, enjoy your first
South African dinner at the Hotel. If you’d like, you could also visit the
nearby Casino Resort (Emperor’s Palace) for additional entertainment!

Day Two. Monday 17 th August - VICTORIA FALLS
Wake up to the pulsating city sounds of Johannesburg. After a delicious
breakfast at our Hotel, we’ll check in for our flight to Victoria Falls in
Zimbabwe. Upon arrival at 12:30pm, you will be transferred into town and
settle in at your accommodation at the Shearwater Explorer Village and
enjoy lunch. Enjoy your afternoon at your own leisure and don’t forget the
marketplaces littered around town for African gifts. In the evening you will
be transferred to the Boma Restaurant to try your hand at some drumming!
On arrival at the boma you will be presented with a traditional robe to
get you into the mood. Prepare to be immersed in the vibrant
atmosphere. Aromas of local dishes and game meat on the barbeque
fill the restaurant. The Boma is partially open to the Afr ican skies and
offers a unique experience. Your senses will be bombarded with the
tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa. Enjoy the warmth and
hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people. Once seated, you are invited
to take part in a hand washing ceremony and to taste the local brew,

Day Three. Tuesday 18th August – VICTORIA FALLS
Enjoy an early start to the morning and another scrumptious breakfast at our
Hotel. Get ready for some exciting included activities. In the morning,
marvel at the falls like an eagle with a 12-minute helicopter flight over the
falls (Flight of the Angels). The “Flight of Angels” is an amazing journey
over the 1700m vast curtain of water known locally as the “Mosi oa Tunya”
(the smoke that thunders) and along the Zambezi River and the Zambezi
National Park. Passengers are treated to an unforgettable helicopter journey
comprising of 4 circuits (2 on either side) offering unrivalled spectacular
views, photographic, and filming opportunities and putting the full breadth
and height of The Falls into glorious perspective within the surrounding
environment. We then make our way to the falls for an included lunch at the
Rainforest Café right by the Falls and enjoy a guided tour. There is nothing
quite like the heart-pounding sensation of actually standing on the edge of
these magnificent falls and being drenched by the never-ending spray... You
will never really be prepared for the incredible beauty and mesmerising
strength and power of the mighty Victoria Falls. Meals: (B)(L)(D)

Day Four. Wednesday 19th August – Kasane
After breakfast, we’ll be transferred to the border (70kms) to Botswana en
route to Kasane. The town of Kasane is the “gateway” to the Chobe National
Park – an award-winning park where National Geographic photographers
hang out to get those special wildlife shots! We’ll arrive for lunch at the
Chobe River Lodge and enjoy their magnificent view on to the Chobe River.
This afternoon, we’ll enjoy an afternoon Safari Boat Cruise and spot
yawning hippos and swimming elephants. Meals: (B)(L)(D)

Day Five. Thursday 20th August – Kasane
An early start to the day will reward us with a BIG 5 Safari Experience on
an early morning open vehicle game drive. Search for African Wild Dogs,
Hyena, Lion and the elusive Leopard. After driving just a few metres, our
guide suddenly stops. An elephant family slowly saunters across the road,
planning to take a bath. As you gaze at this amazing scene, you can hear the
dull sound of heavy feet in the sand, the breathing and whiffing, and the
occasional trumpeting from these beautiful, mighty creatures.
One of the most awe-inspiring safari experiences is the up close and
personal meetings with wildlife in the Chobe National Park We’ll enjoy
lunch at the Chobe River Lodge and rest until we go back for an afternoon
Sunset Cruise on the Chobe River.
We’ll board our boat again at around 7pm for your dinner on this majestic
river. Enjoy a Chobe River Sunset Cruise and witness the abundant
wildlife on the banks of the Chobe National Park. Relax as the Sun
sinks into the Chobe River. Meals: (B)(L)(D)

Day Six Friday 21st August – Greater Kruger Area
This morning, we’ll say goodbye to Botswana and check in for our flight to
South Africa. A short transfer will then bring us to our accommodation at
Ndhula Lodge. With breathtaking views over the striking Lowveld of South
Africa, Ndhula Lodge offers superb African luxury and accommodation
paired with warm and genuine hospitality. This is ideally located
accommodation to explore Kruger National Park and the sights of
Mpumalanga, or to simply relax and enjoy a setting in a peaceful wildlife
estate surrounded b y the sights and sounds of nature. Meals: (B) (D)

Day Seven Saturday 22nd August – Greater Kruger area
An early morning game drive to showcase South Africa’s biggest and most
well-known park – The Kruger! Approximately 360kms long, this is a must
see for any traveler. We’ll spend our morning searching for the Big 5 and
everything else the African Bush can throw at us – Kudu, Jackal, Zebra,
Honey Badger, Martial Eagle, Brown Hyena and Saddle-billed Storks to
name but a few of the thousands of animals that call The Kruger their home.
We’ll be picked up by 5am to be one of the FIRST to explore the park. We’ll
enjoy lunch inside the park at one of their restaurants and back at Ndhula
camp in the afternoon to enjoy the lodge and our well-deserved sundowners!

Day Eight Sunday 23rd August – Greater Kruger Area –
Private Game Reserve: Moditlo Game Reserve.
Today, we’ll be transferred to a private Game Reserve to enjoy the sights
and sounds of the African Bush – AT ITS BEST! Our all-inclusive package
of 3 meals a day and two game drives are sure to make you feel even more
pampered. Our Moditlo River Lodge sits at the heart of the Blue Canyon
Conservancy, a stretch of protected land in close proximity to the world-
renowned Greater Kruger National Park and is home to an astonishing array
of fauna and flora. It’s at the foot of the famous Drakenburg Mountain
Range.
To go on safari is one of the greatest adventures one can experience outdoors
and the excellent team of nature guides and trackers will help you encounter
the magic of our surrounds. The guides have been hand-picked for their vast
knowledge of the area and its animals and will be more than happy to clarify,
inform and discuss any topic at length.
Named for the gentle beast of the bushveld, Moditlo means ‘place of the
elephant’, and the quiet grace of this extraordinary creature echoes
throughout the lodge and its surroundings. Moditlo is a celebration of the
abundance and variety of animal, bird and plant life that you’ll find in the

Day Nine Monday 24th August – Moditlo Game Reserve
Today, we’ll be enjoying an early morning and late afternoon open vehicle
game drive while getting wined and dined African style.
Typical Daily Itinerary:
Wake up call for our first game drive 5.30 a.m.
Early morning game drive – 6-9am
Breakfast 9.30 a.m.
Relax and enjoy the lodge till around 2.30pm.
High Tea at 3pm.
Afternoon game Drive 4-6pm

Day Ten Tuesday 25th August.
Sadly, this will be our last early morning game drive before we head to the
airport. We’ll leave the Lodge around noon and be transferred to Hoedspruit

for completion and return with a deposit of $1000.00 per person within 7 days to
secure your booking.
BALANCE PAYMENT
Balance of payment is to be received at least 60 days prior to Tour Departure
Date. For Tour Bookings made within 60 days of Tour Departure Date full
payment is required on booking.
CHANGES TO ITINERARY
Sinclair Tour and Travel reserves the right to alter any itinerary due to unforeseen
circumstances beyond its control and to cancel any tour due to insufficient
bookings. A full refund of fare will be made if tour is cancelled by Sinclair Tour
and Travel

In addition to the above fee any moneys paid in respect of bookings with other
tour operators, airfares, attractions, etc. on your behalf and which cannot be
recouped will also be payable. A $50 administration fee (per person) will be
charged on ALL cancellations regardless of the number of days’ notice given.
To cover cancellations due to illness or for loss of baggage we strongly
encourage passengers to arrange travel insurance. We can arrange Travel
insurance for you as we now sell Covermore Travel Insurance. Phone us
