Allow your child to listen to the story a few times and discuss the moral of the story.

Plant watercress seeds ( or anything you have at home)

Remind your child to water their seeds/ plants daily and watch its progression.

5 Great Challenges for you to try

Bounce the ball on the floor- move your leg over it-catch the ball

Switch legs and see can you do it 5 times

Bounce the ball around an imaginary circle- first with your right hand then with your left.

Bounce the ball around your body without moving. First with your right hand then with your left.

Above is art activity you can do with your whole family…

Here are a list of ingredients you will need to do this:

500g flour

250g salt

250ml water

Mix into a dough. Roll out then press in your handprints- nice to get everyone in your family to do this (you may need to double the mixture depending on the amount of people).

Bake in oven on lowest temperature for 4 hours. Leave to cool before painting. Finish with varnish to seal. You could mount or frame it to make it sturdy.
