Protection of our Children

Our Parish is committed to the protection of children and

young people, which includes supporting victims of sexual

abuse. Any allegations of sexual abuse of a minor must first be

reported to the proper civil authorities. The Diocesan Victims

Assistant Coordinator, Oscar Reyes, should be contacted

afterwards at 543-9178

All bulletin, Facebook, or website posts can be submitted to

Mary Morris at websmaster@stjohnbapstistlbk.org. Bulletin

deadline is 2 weeks in advance of publication.

“Forgiveness and reconciliation complete our integrity.” If our hearts are pure and our consciences

clear, then our attitudes and behaviors will coincide with Christ’s teachings.

A n n u a l C a t h o l i c O f f e r i n g f o r M i n i s t r i e s

Thank you to all who have made a

commitment to the first-ever Annual

Catholic Offering for Ministries (ACOM).

You are a living reminder that there is No

Greater Love than that of sacrificial generosity. Your

contribution to the ACOM will help the ministries of the

Diocese of Lubbock accomplish their mission. Every gift will

help the lost, the lonely, the broken, the struggling, the young,

the old, and those longing for an encounter with God.

For those of you who haven’t made a commitment, we ask

that you prayerfully discern your stewardship to the ACOM.

You can find more pledge envelopes in the gathering space or

in front of our office. Your contribution matters, and our goal is

to have 100% of our parishioners participate in this Lenten

almsgiving opportunity.

C h i l d r e n ’ s C o l l e c t i o n D u r i n g L e n t

We will be having an opportunity during every Mass

for children and youth to bring forward their donations

during the offertory collection. This is a beautiful visual

for the whole parish on the importance of almsgiving.

Tuesday, March 24th

At 7pm

With Special Guest: Sister Celine Thames, OSF

Mark your calendars! All are invited to be

present for this beautiful reflection.
