My rock adventure:

Journey through the rock cycle.

I began my adventure in The Ocean-

The ocean floor was subducted, causing the rock to go to the Earth’s interior!

My second stop is the Earth’s interior:

The tectonic plates push upward and send the rock to the mountains!

My third stop is the mountains:

The ice on the mountains melt, carrying the rocks, and sending me to the river.

My next destination is a river! :

While in the river, sediments form and the rock goes to the soil.

The fifth stop is the soil:

While in the soil, pressure occurs sending the rock back to the Earth’s interior!

The sixth stop is back at the Earth’s interior:

At this stop, magma is forced up sending the rock to a volcano.

The seventh stop is a volcano:

The magma flows into the ocean.

Next stop: Ocean-

The rock dust evaporates with the water and goes to the clouds.

The ninth stop is the clouds:

While in the clouds, it starts to snow. The rock ends up in the mountains again.

Tenth stop: Mountains-

Wind erosion occurs and carries the rock to the soil.

Stop eleven: Soil-

Pressure occurs and sends it to the Earth’s interior.

Stop number 12: Earth’s interior:

The tectonic plates move and the rock is sent to a volcano, again.

The last stop: Volcano! :

My rock adventure ends in the volcano.
