A Project designed to:• Locate the various Papers presented at the International Rail Safety Conferences held between 1990 & 2000,

• Collate them into a suitable electronic format (CD) and,

• Produce and supply copies of the CD for the exclusive benefit of delegates.

CONCEPT

The concept of producing a CD of previous IRSC Papers was identified by the Delegates at

the 1999 BANFF IRSC

1. Unanimous approval given on 10 November 2000 for the establishment of a CD Project Group for the coordination

of the production and distribution of conference papers for the years

1990 to 2000 in a CD format

2. The co-ordinators of the CD Project Group authorised to co-opt other members of the conference to assist.

CONCLUSION

The IRSC CD Group having discharged its responsibilities to the best of its abilities, with all due care and attention, it believes that the final product represents a faithful and practical response to the requirements of the 2000 IRSC.

CONCLUSIONThe CD Project Group’s 2000 Mandate required it to:

produce the CD (done),supply copies of the CD (so far some 85 copies have been supplied), submit a final report (done), andforward all surplus monies from the CD Project Group's activities to the "Railway Children Charity”. (to be actioned following the 2002 Tokyo conference)
