DSA-JC &Poly EAE ITE EAE

• DSA-JC is an admissions exercise that allows

students to seek admission to a junior college (JC) on the basis of talents and achievements that may not be demonstrated at the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination.

• enables students to enter suitable academic and non-academic programmes in junior colleges that can develop the students in these areas.

What is Direct School Admissions – Junior Colleges?

When is the DSA-JC Exercise conducted?

• Is conducted in two Phases from late June to late August (based on dates for 2017 Exercise)

• When the application date draws near, an information note will be given by the school to the students

How to apply or qualify?

• Each JC sets its own criteria for selection, based on the academic and / or non-academic areas that the JC would like to emphasise.

• Students can visit the website of the JC they are interested in to find out more information

DSA-JC

• If you are selected by a school, you can decide whether to accept or reject the offer

• If you accept an offer, you will be guaranteed a place in the JC / Institution, so long as you meet the eligibility criteria for JC admission based on your GCE ‘O’ Level examination results

• Polytechnic EAE

• ITE EAE

What is Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)?

• Poly EAE is an aptitude-based admissions

exercise that allows students to apply for and receive conditional offers for admission to polytechnics prior to receiving their final grades
