Every Friday AMOS worked withscientists across the country to bring

them directly into the homes of ourcommunity. Example of science guests:

The WNC Nature Center discussedwildlife conservation, Heather

Guetterman (PhD Student at Cornell)spoke to viewers about nutrition, and Will

Armentrout (an astronomer) lead adiscussion about mapping our galaxy.

AMOS has developed and created 101Daily Dose of Science activities andvideos to keep our young scientistsengaged and inspired. This has resultedin over 66,000 direct onlineengagements.

This online version of our popular eventfor adult science enthusiasts coveredtopics related to science, i.e., Radontesting, the science of brewing, Rocks!,STEM Education, and more!

Engineering Extravaganza and Bio Blitzprovide socially distanced and small groupscience intensive workshops to students in1st – 8th grade. Workshops offer personalized,interactive fun, expert guest speakers, and lotsof STEM education.

Butterfly Mural Photo Spot and ActivityStationSTEM Lab Art Walk and Reduced TouchActivitiesPaleontology Video Center Displays

LEC provides interactive STEAMexploration for preschoolers in small,Zoom class format. Explorers wereencouraged to ask questions, use theirimagination, and continue hands-onlearning at home.

Summer Camp in a Box provided thesummer camp experience at home.

Campers enjoyed activities in these fivedifferent themes: STEAM, Nature, Space,

Dinosaurs, and Robots.
