Visso is an ancient medieval
village, situated in the
Sibillini Mountains national
park, in the region of
Marche.
In this area of central Italy
rich in millenary traditions,
where nature and history
blend together, still
nowadays water and air
keep the uncontaminated
purity of the past.
Both these two important
elements, together with
special care in the
production process, have
contributed in giving
SVILA’s products their
unique and high-quality
characteristics.
The company was founded
in 1974 and since then has
been supplying the most
important national and
international brands.
In the last 10 years, steered
by the commercial
management unit, new
products were created and a
new brand introduced in
order to produce a range of
tasty products. The
remarkable managerial
initiative and the quality of
the products have allowed
SVILA to become a well-
known and highly
appreciated pizza producer.
Large investments have
been made in these last
years, which have allowed
SVILA to boast two stone-
oven baking production
lines with a product output
of around 40 million pieces
per year.
SVILA produces both
private label and own brand
that are sold into the retail,
catering, snack and home
service markets.

We treat the dough with care
and passion. This is our secret.
We let the dough leaven for
24 hours and then we knead
it with meticulous care
thanks to our passionate
experts who follow all the
production steps.
We try to reproduce the skill
of the “bravo pizzaiolo” who
prepares the dough balls,
covers them with a damp
cloth and leaves them to
rest. The dough is then
stretched with the assistance
of the machines or by hand

obtained in either way is
then topped by our
careful attendants.
The right timing and
way of cooking, in direct
contact with oven stones,
give our products a distinct
fragrance, a well-balanced
colouring, an extraordinary
lightness and softness and
certainly a unique taste.
The immediate
deepfreezing allows to
maintain unaltered the latter
features.
Packaging and storage
in appropriate cold stores
complete this process.
The whole production
process is constantly
monitored in order to grant
the highest hygiene and
quality standards of our
products.

Making the right choice of
ingredients is fundamental to
obtain a tasty and genuine
product.
Choosing water was not
difficult at all: it is pure spring
water from the Sibillini
Mountains National Park and it
makes our dough inimitable.
The other 200 and more raw
materials that we handle,
amongst which 10 kinds of
flour, 21 of tomato, 28 of herbs,
70 of cheese, 15 of meats and
55 of vegetables come from an
accurate selection of our suppliers.
All the incoming raw materials
are systematically checked
so to ensure both their quality
and traceability.
We choose them carefully
and control them meticulously
