Consul General Marciano R. de Borja welcomed Mr. Peñaflorida to the Philippine Consulate where the latter met with EMG’s students and volunteer teachers. EMG is a project of the Consulate General and the Filipino Cultural Center (FCC) to teach children and adults on Guam the Filipino language and culture. Now on its 15th session, EMG is held biannually for ten (10) Saturdays per session administered by the EMG volunteer teachers led by its Principal, Mrs. Milagros Moguel who is assisted by volunteer teachers, Ms. Ciony Viray, Ms. Gloria Baguinon and Dr. Clarisa Quan.

President of FCC and Guahan Lions Club Past President and Adviser Mr. Emilio Uy invited Mr. Peñaflorida as keynote speaker at the Guahan Lions Club 25th anniversary gala on 08 April 2017 at Hilton Hotel.
