Project Overview
• Improved mobility along the most congested corridors in Texas
• Road capacity nearly doubled- Reconstructed main
lanes (free)- Expanded frontage
roads- Four new managed
toll lanes (two in each direction)
Project Benefits
• Managed lane network to extend from North Dallas to downtown Fort Worth
• 2,100 workers along the corridor• 160 companies• 190+ DBE contract awards• $1.299 billion spent on construction• $1.5 million spent per day (avg.)• Spurring new economic development
throughout corridor
