Canadian Blast Freezers/Canada First Brands is a growing meat processing and cold storage company, committed to providing industry leading product quality, customer service and new product development in meeting the needs of our customers. Production Team Members are in a heavily team-based environment and are located in the meat process-ing production area of the facility.

PRODUCTION WORKERJOB DETAILS• Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm with an occasional weekend shift as required)• Overtime as required• Eligible for Group Benefits after probationary period• Fast-paced work and team environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Timely, accurate, and quality handling of meat products• Cutting and inspecting meat products • Team Player• Willing to assist in a variety of work tasks• Packaging, weighing, labeling products• Housekeeping and clean-up

QUALIFICATIONS• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalency • Must be physically fit (able to lift 60 lbs)• Able to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of time• Must be Bondable

WAGE• $15.00 /hour• After probationary period, Team Members are eligible to work towards of Levels of Accountability to increase their wages.

SANITATION WORKERJOB DETAILS• Evening Shift (Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 12:30am with occasional weekend shifts required)• Overtime as required• Eligible for Group Benefits after probationary period• Fast-paced work and team environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lift and move pieces of equipment• Able to safely work with chemicals • Safely sanitize equipment, utensils, containers, and other items• Verification of sanitation• Use system knowledge to successfully complete all job tasks

QUALIFICATIONS• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalency • Must be physically fit (able to lift 60 lbs)• Able to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of time• Must be Bondable• Knowledge of HACCP and sanitation procedures an asset

WAGE• $15.75 /hour• After probationary period, Team Members are eligible to work towards of Levels of Accountability to increase their wages.
