Action Taken by GoG

Affordable Housing Mission is declared as the State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA) in the state of Gujarat.

MoA signed by the Principal Secretary, UD & UHD, GoG with MoHUPA, GoI.

State Level Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (SLSMC) was constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary.

State Level Appraisal Committee (SLAC) constituted with the Chief Engineer of Gujarat Housing board for verification and clearance of the Detailed Project Reports received from the ULBs.

171 Cities are selected from Gujarat for Housing For All Mission (HFA) by MoHUPA, GoI It includes 8 Municipal Corporations & 163 Nagar Palikas.

GoI had approved 44 projects of 32311 DUs of EWS category in 3rd CSMC & 4th CSMC.

Highlights of various projects

Very high demand received as per the previous demand survey assessment

Higher demand is expected as per New Income criteria.

i.e. In Ahmedabad City 43,000 applications received against 4000 DUs.

In Surat City also good response from applicants.

Along with houses social infrastructure i.e. Anganwadi, Health center, etc. will be provided by respective ULBs.

Respective ULBs provide their land as resource for the projects.

ULC land is being used for Housing projects by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.

Around 10,000 DUs with carpet area 31–40 Sq.mt allotted to beneficiaries with their maximum contribution of Rs 7.50 lacs per DU.

We have taken care of beneficiaries and select location where they can get

“Livelihood.”

Selected sites are situated at “prime location” in the city.
