Goal

• Main goal of presentation :

• is to combine the visual signal “presentation” and audio signal from the presenter

Amplifies the learning experience

so to reach this goal :

• Avoid distraction .

• Important facts should be the most attractive

• Highlight real important stuff

Advices to you as a presenter:

• Dress smartly.• Say hello and smile when you greet the audience.• Speak clearly, naturally with medium speed.• Don’t sit. Stand and you may walk around a little and gesture

with your hands.• Vary the tone of your voice. 

Advices to you as a presenter: (Cont.)• Make eye contact with your audience. • Use visual aids where appropriate.• Don't look at your notes too much.• Involve your audience by asking them a question.• Rehearse your talk and check your timing.

• Prepare and structure your presentation carefully.  • Stay focused throughout your presentation. • It's normal to be a little nervous. Learn to channel any

nervous energy.• Answer any questions honestly. If you don’t know the answer, then

say so and offer to provide further information at a later date.

More rules• Avoid more than 3 fonts “ loses focus”

• Avoid compressed slides

• Consider time for your presentation as a rule of thumb at least 1 min per slide

• Don’t use a lot of effects

• Make sure that your slide works on diffrent computers (mac, windows, linux ) (office 2007 , 2010, 2013)

• Less is more

• Know your slides inside out
