The twelve thermometers in the 8 000 series are calibrated to the appropr iate British Standards but are also suppl ied to meet DIN, NBS and N F specif ications. They use a current of less than 45 mA and the manufacturers claim that the modular circuit design and purpose-made MOS/LS I chip ensure long term reliability. It ~s rated at i kW and, cool ing from an ambient temperature of 46°C to 24°C. takes a full load current of TAat 1 1 0 V
