Wooden JettiesTanjung Piai is a cape in Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia. It is the southernmost point of Peninsular Malaysia and thus the most southern point of mainland Eurasia. The skyline of Singapore is visible across the Johor Strait from the point. It features seafood restaurants, perched on wooden jetties that are surrounded by a rugged and rarefied coastline of unspoiled mangrove forests.Josepine Tang | jocelest8272@yahoo.com.sgfacebook.com/josephine.tang3

Aljunied 10 StoreyThis area of Circuit road is called Aljunied 10 storey because in the older days the HDB here are all only 10 storey high. They were first built in 1961 and was the first few batch of flats to be built in Singapore. I recently even had the luxury to cut my hair in a 41 old Indian barber shop in the area. Take a evening stroll around the neighbourhood and you can still find your childhood dragon playground, mama shops and faded memories.Vincent Lin | jasazlin@hotmail.comfacebook.com/vincent.lin.7923
