Pick Your Own Enablement
Number of participants and vouchers : The number of required voucher indicated is per session, not per participant. Skills vouchers from different BP’s may be combined to reach the total required number of vouchers. The maximum numbers of participants is indicated in each offering. Should the BP not have enough vouchers to cover the cost of the session, the cost difference will be billed separately.
Catering/room : No Catering or room renting is included in any of the offerings. Those sessions are expected to be run at BP/distributor’s or customer premises. Where and when available, IBM Innovation center may be used.
Implementation workshops : All offering are proposed for BP skills development purpose, implementation workshop included. It is mandatory for the partner to participate to the full implementation track and actively being involved in the preparation activities.
Accepted vouchers : PGI and Distributor Growth vouchers can be used for all skill areas. Power Specialty vouchers can only be used for Power and Linux related skills activities Storage Specialty vouchers can only be used for skill enablement activities related to IBM Systems Storage.

PVCIMP2 : Power VC Implementation Course
This course describes the concepts and implementation details to install, configure, and
implement the IBM Power Virtualization Center (PowerVC) Standard managing PowerVM to
manage a virtualized Power Systems-based environment with AIX and Linux virtual
machines. PowerVC is the new advanced virtualization management offering that is built on
OpenStack. The course topics cover planning for the PowerVC installation, customizing the
environment, configuring storage, and includes capturing and deploying virtual machines.
