Due to the small scale of the proposed module, the human scale becomes the forefront and the most important factor in designing. For the project to be suc-cessful it has to provide flexible spatial configurations but most importantly it must be livable. The 1:1 study is a simple method of mapping out the outlines of floor plans and elevations of the module using masking tape. The 1:1 study through the use of photo graphics will illustrate how despite the compact-ness of the module and the natural doubt and disbelief that comes with the workings of a small space, the module is able to allow the user to experience all the functions comfortably by providing them with a visualization of the space.

The Process: 1:1 Study
