PDHPE is important for children’s learning because:

It teaches children life skills like personal health and wellbeing; whereas other subjects focus on academic training.

It allow students to take a break from academic studies to have fun and get active.

As well as getting active; PE allows for students to be involved in games like soccer and football without having to be completely skilled in it through fair play.

PDHPE also give students an understanding of what it is to work in a team through group class activities in PDH & team sports lessons in PE

PDHPE also give students an opportunity to link other subjects into their learning. This is done through counting to keep score (Mathematics), writing (English) and drawing (Creative Arts).
