• ENGLISH (“B”) – FOUR YEARS OF COLLEGE PREPARATORY ENGLISH THAT INTEGRATES READING OF CLASSIC AND MODERN

LITERATURE, FREQUENT AND REGULAR WRITING, AND PRACTICE LISTENING AND SPEAKING.

• MATHEMATICS (“C”) –THREE YEARS OF COLLEGE-PREPARATORY MATH, INCLUDING OR INTEGRATING THE TOPICS COVERED IN

• LABORATORY SCIENCE (“D”) – TWO YEARS OF LABORATORY SCIENCE PROVIDING FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE IN AT LEAST TWO OF

• LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH (“E”) – TWO YEARS OF THE SAME LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH OR EQUIVALENT TO THE

ChoirsConcert Choir-If you are just getting the feel of choir

Beginners Women’s Choir-Where most freshman girls are if it is their first time in a choir.

*Bella Voce Women’s Ensemble-This is our advanced ensemble, for girls who have experience in

the choir “community.”

*Advanced Mixed Chamber Ensemble-This our most advanced choir. This is a mixed choir,

meaning both girls and boys can join. This a choir that requires an audition.

*Vocal Jazz - This ensemble consists of only 12-15 students. This is also one of our most advanced groups

*Show Choir- is a group of people who combine choral singing with dance, sometimes within the context of a

specific idea or story.

Jazz Band- Advanced group for those obsessed with all things JAZZ

Guitar Ensemble- After school group of guitarists pulled from students in the music exploration guitar class.

Plays a variety of styles of music, all on guitars.

Mariachi Band- After school group playing only Mariachi music. Pulled from students in Marching Band and

Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band- Want to learn an instrument? Want to learn a second instrument? Symphonic band is the

place for you!

Marching Band- Join our award-winning Marching Band and Color Guard! Advanced group that shows

extreme skill through playing music while marching. Becomes Concert Band in the 2nd semester. Color

Guard becomes Winter Guard and performs indoors.

AP MUSIC THEORYEver wonder why music sounds so good? Unlock the secrets of music by taking AP Music Theory!

After this class, you’ll be able to sing, understand and appreciate all forms of music, and even write

your own music!

We highly suggest you have taken a music class before this, though.
