Thumbs Up: A signal to show that you have a strategy to solve the problem

Fingers: A signal that can be used to identify a specific strategy or to show multiple strategies

HOW CAN A PARENT DO THIS?

• IN CLOSE PROXIMITY: GOOD CONVERSATION AT THE DINNER TABLE, LONG CAR RIDE

• ALLOW APPROPRIATE THINK TIME

• COMMUNICATION – LET YOUR CHILD EXPLAIN THEIR THINKING. ASK QUESTIONS!
