NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT AND REVIEW OF ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW RECORD FOR HILL
COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY COMMUNICATION
SYSTEM UPGRADES
Hill County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 1st, at 1:30pm in the Commissioner’s Office at the Hill County Courthouse located at 315 4th Street in Havre, MT, 59501, for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the environmental review record for the proposed Hill County Detention Center Communication System Upgrades project that will result in upgraded electronic control panels to replace the facility’s existing equipment.
At the public hearing the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, sources of funding, any costs that may result for local citizens as a result of the project, and a decision will be made on the environmental assessment. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed project and any environmental impacts.
Comments may be given orally at the meeting or submitted in writing before August 31st at 5pm.

Copies of the draft environmental record is available by emailing schagnon@bearpaw.org and will also be available at the public meeting.
