Preventive maintenance• Handpiece disinfection, lubrication, and sterilization.• Always run the handpiece without a bur in place for 20 seconds

after lubrication to expel any excess lubricant.• Never clean any handpiece in cold sterilant or chemical

disinfectants. This may damage or corrode some metals.• It’s advisable to fill the bottle in purified water .(for handpieces

protection).• Clean the lamp from the dust to get enough lighting.(weekly)• Lubricate all moving joints in the chair.(monthly)
