Handmade JournalsBack in the day, monks wandered the streets of Italy with small books called Vade Mecum — Latin for “to go with me”. For over 15 years, I have been bringing this ancient Italian treasure to wanderers and wonderers of our time, placing thousands of these books in the hands of artists, musicians, writers, photographers, backpackers, architects, poets, philosophers, and all sorts of fascinating people with something to say or save in a meticulously crafted archival book – people like you!

One of a KindThese are my newest line of books . . . some call ‘em Steam Punk. Most are kept closed with a rusty hasp and vintage padlock of your choosing or antique door hinges. All hardware is actually vintage, and typically between 50 and 120 years old. No reproductions here!! They are all attached to the leather with hand-hammered copper rivets.
